Dogs on Bikes
Chan

4/3/2002: This site is really wonderful and we hope to be able to join it soon. As you can see I think we qualify, as one of the pics is from NECN our New England Cable News channel as we were doing a benefit ride for the humane society. I was so glad to see that there are other bikerdogs out there. I was pulled over by an officer in New Hampshire one day and I thought he wanted to give me a ticket; instead he asked to take a pic for his mom. I do see that this may be a concern in some states though. Chan is safe as possible and sits in a tank bag with goggles and a helmet.(helmet however is decorative mostly when a child came up to me concerned about his not having one. Thanks again for the great site and hope we can be members soon.......much luck with your endeavors.......

7/12/2003 Chan has been in several local newspapers which i could email if
you feel appropiate. Chan will be 12 in september and is in excellent health
and has been riding for approx 10 years (as long as myself) We work with
developmental folks with dissabilities and have some background with human
behaviors which also helped in helping him to learn to ride. People are
always asking me how and where so they can bring their friends with them on
the bike and I always help them as much as possible to keep their furry
friends safe.We do several rides for local humane society benefits including
the mspca who does a major ride out of methuen mass. The attachment is from
laconia bike week this year as you can see he is fully decked out right down
to his leather pants.(we were also in that newspaper that week) Thank you
for the opportunity to reply and you folks keep up the good
work.
