Ebony's owner originally wrote to DogsOnBikes:

This is my love Ebony. She rode my bike with me, my 4 wheeler, and anything else with wheels. Soon after this pic was taken we had a side car built for her. She passed away from cancer on July 24 of 2001. This is another pic of Ebony. This time in her side car. She was an American Eskimo Spitz and we live in Edgewater Florida just south of Daytona. It is bike week right now and we miss her like crazy.

God bless you,
Kitten and all the fuzzbutts

We're sorry to hear Ebony has passed...---Jesse & Houdini, DogsOnBikes.com---

Ebony was three weeks old when she was brought into my rescue shelter and I raised her on an eyedropper. She really loved "her" motor cycle and anything else with wheels. When we would travel and play "tourist" she would ride in a baby stroller so that she could go into a lot of the attractions with us. When my husband traded his old bike in and brought the new one home in the truck, Ebony was more excited than my hubby was. She stood at the back of the truck and waited for it to roll down the ramp. As soon as the wheels touched down she leapt into the seat. My hubby said she was the only one who could have gotten away with getting on his new bike before him. I have had a few people post me and tell me that they didn't even know the second picture was on the site until I mentioned it in a post to them. Any way we could put the pics together instead of one at top one at bottom? Here is another pic of Ebony on my bike (thumbnails at left). Before we got her sidecar she rode on my tank with a rubber backed rug for footing. Is this not the most ecstatic face you ever saw?

God has "dominion" over man. He gave man "dominion" over the animals. Shouldn't we treat them like we want God to treat us?
